一、主要內容不同。記敘文主要是描寫人物和故事情節為主，描述文以寫實物，描繪為主，說明文以闡明事理為主。

二、含義不同。

1、Narration即記敘文是以記人、敘事、寫景、狀物為主，以寫人物的經歷和事物發展變化為主要內容的一種文體形式。

2、Description即描述文文體基本種類之一。描繪人物、事件、景物的文字。表現手法以描寫、敘述為主，同時兼有必要的抒情、議論和說明。

3、exposition即說明文是一種以說明為主要表達方式的文章體裁 。它通過對實體事物科學地解說，對客觀事物做出說明或對抽象事理的闡釋，使人們對事物的形態、構造、性質、種類、成因、功能、關系或對事理的概念、特點、來源、演變、異同等能有科學的認識，從而獲得有關的知識。

三、描寫手法不同。記敘文主要以側面描寫烘托，正面描寫等，寫清故事發生的時間地點人物情節，最後抒發情感。描述文主要以比喻等修辭手法，生動形象描繪出物品的樣貌等。

說明文則側重說理，以簡潔科學的語言闡明事理，它通過對實體事物科學地解說，對客觀事物做出說明或對抽象事理的闡釋，使人們對事物的形態、構造、性質、種類、成因、功能、關系或對事理的概念、特點、來源、演變、異同等能有科學的認識，從而獲得有關的知識，揭示深層的意義。

首先Summary的寫作應該分為以下6步：
①分段閱讀
首先，我們需要對整篇文章瀏覽一次，根據文中的標題、副標題等分段閱讀。
②重讀
主動閱讀文章，並把主題句、關鍵句以及對寫作summary有用的信息標記出來。
③概括
在明確了每個分段的中心思想之後，用一句話概括出來。注意：句中只需要關鍵點，不需要進行細節性的描述。
④主旨
主旨句是一篇摘要的關鍵點，讀者可從中獲知整篇文章所要表達的內容。因此，一定要寫好主旨句。
⑤寫summary
在寫summary的時候一定要注意：在summary中需要寫原作者和作品的名稱，且要用現在時去寫作，盡量避免使用原文內容。除此之外，摘要的寫作目的在於准確表達作者的觀點，所以一定不可以添加自己的觀點在里邊。
⑥檢查並修改
在summary完成之後需要檢查我們是否准確的將作者的觀點表達出來了，如果沒有問題的話，也還是需要從個事、語法以及標點等方面進行一次檢查。

注意點：

注意點：當這幾個句型連接主語時，謂語動詞的人稱和數要考慮「就近原則」，對比both…and… 來記憶，both…and…連接主語時視為復數。
句型(三)enough+名詞+to do…——有足夠的……做某事
形容詞/副詞+enough+to do …——足夠……做某事
例如：(1)there is enough room to hold these people to have a meeting.有足夠的地方容下這些人開會。
(2)the boy is strong enough to carry the heavy box.這個男孩力氣夠大，能搬動這只箱子。
注意點：enough做副詞修飾形容詞或副詞時，放在所修飾詞的後面，句子可以用so…that…句型改寫。例句(2)可以改寫為：the boy is so strong that he can carry the heavy box.這個男孩力氣很大，能搬動這只箱子。
句型(四)too+形容詞/副詞+to do…——太……以致不能……
