1. 大學英語3級考試寫作技巧

三級A節主要考查考生應用文寫作的能力。在應用文中又主要考查書信、通知和便條三種，下面寫作。

（一） 書信
書信分為公函和私函。二者主要區別在對象和內容。前者如資訊信、推薦信，後者如問候信、邀請信。書信的構成一般為：
1. Heading（信頭）：信頭是指發信人的單位名稱、地址、電話號碼、電報掛號等，以及發信日期。發信人的名稱和地址等應寫在信紙的右上角，即在日期的上邊。日期也可以寫在信紙後的簽名下邊。
2. Inside Address（信內地址（這部分只應用於正式商業書信））：信內地址是收信人的地址包括姓名、職務、公司名稱、街道名稱或信箱號、城市、州或省、郵政編碼和國家。信內地址通常寫在左手邊，在日期線和稱呼之間。
3. Salutation（稱呼）：稱呼一般低於信內地址兩行，與之平齊。一般在人名前加上dear並冠以尊稱，具體如下：
（1） Mr.（Mister），用於無職銜的男子。
（2） Mrs. ( Mistress)，用於已婚女子。
（3） Miss 用於未婚女子。
（4） Misses（Miss的復數），用於復數未婚女子。
（5） Dr.（Doctor），用於博士。
（6） Pro.（Professor），用於大學教授。
（7） Ms. 用於女士通稱。
4. Body of Letter（信的正文）：正文內容一般包括下面幾點：寫信人身份，寫信事由，寫信的理由，寫信的目的。考場書信一般講究簡單准確，不需辭藻華麗。
5. Comp1imentary Close（結束語）：信尾問候語是寫在信尾的告別話語，例如「Sincerely」，「Sincerely yours」。通常位於正文兩三行以下。第一個單詞的第一個字母要大寫，最後以逗號結尾。
6. Signature（簽名）：寫信人的簽名、名字和頭銜(如果適用)，寫在信尾問候語同側三四行以下的位置。
7. Postscript（附言）：附言用來說明沒有包括在信中的想法和內容。通常在附註下兩三行的地方，從左側頂格寫起。在促銷和私人信件中，附言也可以用來強調寫信人請求收信人採取的行動和做出的考慮。
書信寫作是PETS三級應用文寫作的重中之重，考試機率很大。下面再從往年考生暴露出來的問題談談書信寫作應注意的幾個方面：
1．明確試題要求
一般來講，應用作文試題會在字數、話題、情景和作者身份等方面提出要求。考生應認真讀，積極構思，確定文章所要表現的主題。
2．確定讀者
應用文寫作要求在寫作之前明確讀者身份，根據情景，根據自己與虛擬讀者的關系確定文章的語氣和措辭。
3．注意格式
PETS三級的應用文寫作多以悉信函的格式。主要是信頭、稱呼、結尾。
4．用詞得當、語法准確、標點拼寫無誤
寫作完畢要認真檢查，避免有關語法、拼寫和標點的錯誤。
