上大復學不需要英語二制級考試的證書。全國英語等級考試（PublicEnglishTestSystem，簡稱PETS），是教育部考試中心設計並負責的全國性英語水平考試體系。作為中、英兩國政府的教育交流合作項目，在設計過程中它得到了英國專家的技術支持。級別劃分為PETS－1至5級。根據教育部考試中心有關規定，自2007年9月起，全國英語等級考試不受理義務教育階段的學生報考，各地考點不得受理義務教育階段學生集體或個人報名參加全國英語等級考試。但在2007年上半年一級B考試中，取得筆試或口試單科合格者，可以報名參加2008年上半年一級B考試，僅限報考2007年3月份考試不合格或者沒有報考的筆試或口試單科。其他考生報考無任何條件限制，也可跨級別報考。報名時間PETS：每年一月第二周的周三至周日，可報考一級B、一級、二級、三級；每年七月第二周的周三至周日，可報考一級、二級、三級、四級；具體時間以當年當次通知為准。報名時間及方式請參見各省教育考試院或自考通知。
