Preview
Exercise can have many unexpected effects on the body. It would appear that these effects can both be unexpectedly good and occasionally bad. The first passage looks into the question of iron and how exercise can affect its levels in the human body. The second passage explores the relationship between exercise and intelligence which suggests that a healthy body is a healthy mind. Lastly the third passage discusses the benefits of exercise in general and Chinese tai chi in particular for old people. All three passages suggest that the benefits of exercise can be far greater than we often imagine.
