Traveling to another country is often a welcome adventure. In this unit, however, we meet people who take up the challenge of leaving home to live in another country. First, we discover the problems faced by teenagers from Brazil who travel to America to study. Next, we read about a young girl on her first train ride across Canada as she travels to her new home. Finally, we meet a woman who learns the meaning of "a sunny morning" on her first day in a new land. These stories demonstrate how things are not always as easy as they look; the grass is not always greener on the other side.
