助动词MAY的用法

1.MAY表示推测或可能性，但might有委婉的意思，可能性比may小。
He may come.
他也许会来。
2.表示许可，但might更客气，口语中可以can，could代替。
May I come in?
我可以进来吗？
3.表示目的，常与that，so that，in order that连用。
He practiced every day so that he might win the match.
他每天训练以求赢得比赛。
4.MAY可表示祝福。
May you have a pleasant journey!
