国家生态稳定指的是一个国家赖以生存和发展的生态环境的可持续性。比起军事、政治和经济的稳定，生态稳定对于生活在一个国家的普通人民有着更广泛的影响。一旦生态环境遭到了破坏，整个国家，尤其是穷人将来的生存将会受到极大的损害，而且一旦生志恶化超过一定限度，那么一代人，甚至几十代人要重新修复环境都是极为困难的一件事。
尽管保护环境一直是中国政府制定的一项基本国策，然而一个不可否认的事实是，总的来说，改善环境的种种努力很大程度上未能抵抗破坏环境的力量。在下半个世纪举国上下都应该为综合改善生态而做出贡献。

In recent years experts and scholars have shown deep concern about the changes China is bound to undergo in such fields as policy-making, law, marketing, and human resources after it joins the WTO. Their advice is that China should make optimum preparations in order to meet the challenges generated by its entry into the WTO.
These challenges will impose various demands, and exert impact on China's existing laws and regulations. Some scholars are therefore of the opinion that the most significant aspect of China's WTO entry is that it will advance the country's legal progress. The WTO adjusts trading relationships among the governments of its member states, controls their management activities and oversees their formulation and implementation of policies and laws concerning domestic market management.

Teenage violence , the brutal crimes committed by school children, is becoming more frequent in the U.S. today. A telephone poll taken of 506 adult Americans found that about 90% of these people think teenage violence is a bigger problem today than it was in the past. The same poll also revealed that 72% of the people considered “Lack of parental supervision” on of the causes; while 67%considered another factor, “Children being mistreated by their parents ” another cause. The high percentage shown for these two factors indicates that American parents, to some extent, are responsible for teenage violence.
What are American adults doing? They work. They compete. They travel for business purpose. In a word, American adults are very busy engaging in their own business, and are under a lot of pressure. I’m sure many American parents still find time to be with their children, but the result of the poll implies that a lot of parents are not doing their duties well.
Children are the future of a society. Only when parents are around to provide the necessary supervision will children learn to behave properly. As our work and life become more westernized, Chinese adults are facing greater amount of pressure. However, we should not make the same mistakes as the American adults are making now. For the sake of individual’s, as well as the country’s future, be responsible parents.
