blood transtusion

I had heard about the blood transfusion for a long time,but I had never ever tried it,because my mom didn't agree,even I had been 18 years old . And now,I'm a college student,she still dosen't agree with me. So I gave the blood without telling her today.
I'm afraid of injection very much,but I think blood transfusion is a very significant activity.I know that a small bag of blood may save a life which may be endangered.what's more,blood transfusion is good for our health too.It is said that blood transfusion could help to improve the rapid of metabolism of our body.
It is until today that did i know that my blood type is B. It is just a litle hurt,and then what you have to do is keeping your hand pressing a soft object in order to make the blood bleed faster.
In the evening,I made a call back home and told my mom about this. She worried about me very much,and all I can do was comforting her.At first, i didn't understand why she was so worried. It dawned on me soon. My mom said that she worried about me because I'm studying in college without them in a strange place. She did't know whether I can take care of myself. At that time,I'm fill with happiness. And I nearly burst into tears. And I know that no matter how old am I,I ,in a parenst's eyes ,am still their own child.
I think I will not forget it,even though I will get older and older.
